Stephen is a seasoned commercial real estate executive with over 20 years of experience in acquisitions, development, and capital markets. As Managing Partner of Palo Duro Commercial Partners, he leads the firm’s strategic direction on developments, investment sourcing, and execution across Texas and surrounding markets. He began his career managing and leasing a 2-million-square-foot retail portfolio for a Houston-based private investment firm, where he spearheaded more than $550 million in retail leasing, acquisitions and f inancing transactions. Prior to founding Palo Duro, Stephen served as Development Partner at Hunington Properties, overseeing ground-up retail developments, build-to-suit programs, and long-term ground leases throughout the state of Texas and Florida. Over the course of his career, Stephen has been directly involved in 50+ retail projects and maintains ownership interests in over 400,000 square feet of actively managed retail assets. His deep market knowledge, transactional expertise, and hands-on leadership continue to drive the firm’s disciplined growth and investor performance. In his space time, Stephen spend his time with his two sons, golfing, traveling, and hunting/fishing.
